The only information we hold on customers is collected through the ordering/registration process or through email enquiries and is collected lawfully under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998. below. Using this site, or placing an order, indicates your acceptance of these
terms and conditions. Neil & Barker reserves the right to make changes to
this site and these terms and conditions at any time. This does not affect your
statutory rights as a consumer.
All information or materials appearing on this site, including the logos, text, site design and arrangement, graphics, icons, and images, are the property of Neil & Barker. No materials from this site may be copied or reproduced in any form or by any means without prior written permission from Neil & Barker. Any unauthorised use of the materials appearing on this site may violate copyright or other applicable laws and could result in prosecution. All trademarks are recognised as the property of their respective owners, whoever they may be.
POSTAGE
Orders are shipped using Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. Customers may opt for
Special Delivery, which includes insurance. There is an additional £5
charge for this service, unless otherwise stated. At this time we can only ship
orders within the UK.
We cannot accept liability for items once shipped unless the guaranteed and insured Royal Mail Special Delivery Service is selected.
Most orders are usually dispatched the same working day if ordered before 12pm.
If the item ordered is for a special occasion, please check with the shop to make sure we can meet your required deadline on 0151 424 3343 to avoid disappointment. An email confirmation of your order will be sent to you, and you should receive your order within 5-7 working days depending upon stock availability. For a specially ordered item such as a sized ring, delivery can take up to 28 days.
Rings are specially ordered to a customers individual size and cannot be taken back. If you do not receive your order within 7 working days do not hesitate to contact us on 0151 424 3343.
REFUNDS
Items may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund of the item purchased. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Recorded or Special Delivery post should be used to enable us to track the item being returned, this is none refundable. Items that are specially ordered to size, such as rings, cannot be returned, so please make sure you take extra care when ordering ring sizes.
Unfortunately, for health and safety reasons we cannot give refunds on earrings or any item of jewellery that pierces the skin. We cannot give refunds on items of jewellery that have been worn, used or personalised or that have incurred customer damage. Items damaged in transit or incorrectly delivered items which are a mistake on our part may be returned in their original condition and packaging for a full refund.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights. You must contact us by phone prior to returning any goods on 0151 424 3343. Returns should be sent to the following address, along with a note explaining the reason for your return and a copy of the original invoice.

Upon receipt of a returned item for refund, we will consider the reason for return and the item will be checked to make sure it is in a satisfactory condition before a refund is processed at the purchase price. This encryption makes it virtually impossible for unauthorised parties to read any information that you send us. Your personal information and credit card details are safe and secure and will only be used for the ordering process. We do not store this information.

We reserve the right not to supply items if order details are suspicious or fraudulent.
COMPLAINTS POLICY
In the unlikely event of a complaint, we would aim to settle matters quickly and fairly. If any complaint cannot be immediately resolved, we undertake to keep you regularly informed as to progress by email or telephone. Faulty items should be returned within a reasonable timescale and we have the right to replace or repair faulty items. Manufacturers warranties supplied with purchased items will need to be returned with faulty items ie. Watches.
It may also be more convenient for faulty items to be returned direct to the manufacturer where possible. Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss any concerns you may have on 0151 424 3343.

CANCELLATION
When buying goods and services on the Internet, the consumer is entering a legally binding contract. As part of the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, as well as a cooling off period, you may cancel an unwanted order by informing us of this in writing any time up to seven days from the day after the day of delivery. We ask only that you pay the return insured postage otherwise a deduction will be made from the refund to cover the cost of collection.
Please note: As rings are specially ordered to a customers individual size, these cannot be taken back. We ask you, therefore, to be particularly careful when giving your ring size. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. UK law is the applicable law in any dispute. If you cancel your order you will be refunded within 30 days of cancellation by the same payment method as used in the purchase. Orders may be cancelled by email or fax and a cancellation reference number be confirmed and obtained.
